The Petchey Academy is a mixed sex comprehensive secondary school for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old. The specialism of The Petchey Academy is "Health, Care and Medical Sciences”. The Academy is located in East London and it is named after businessman, philanthropist and former football club director/owner Jack Petchey.
The Academy needed an eye-catching brand and strong messaging to support its ethos. The tricky part? The Academy focuses on three incredibly diverse audiences: pupils, parents and the community as a whole. In order to reach the desired focus groups, signs were strategically placed across traditional and non-traditional mediums.
Door Signs
Developing signs for the Academy and its subjects was a challenging and fun. This project required researching the interior of each department and developing signs to help non-English speaking students and parents navigate around the Academy.
Logos were designed and manipulated for different departments and subject areas. They are uniformly designed to maintain The Academy's brand identity.
